If you have not already, we suggest you first see our main page for the most important Corsica towns and villages.

Corsica has numerous small villages and hamlets of interest, very often inland in exceptionally scenic settings. Among the most popular 'groups' of villages are those inland from Calvi, and the hill villages of Castagniccia towards the east, but many other areas also feature notable villages and clusters of hamlets.

This article introduces some of our favourites among these small Corsican villages although there are so many all across the island that you are sure to discover your own personal favourites...
