Porto is a pleasant resort close to the Calanches de Piana. It is a good base for visiting the Calanques.

Corsica has four main towns, Ajaccio, Bonifacio, Bastia and Calvi. Whilst these are well worth a visit in their own right it is often the smaller towns and villages that are the most memorable during your visit to Corsica.
